I am Maja Tobola, a yoga teacher and I would like to invite you to a regular class. I teach a variety of yoga styles, from power yoga, core training to strengthen the middle part of the body, vinyasa yoga, to calm yin yoga. 

My classes are suitable for all levels, so everyone will find their own rhythm and pace depending on whether they are a beginner or advanced. Together we will focus on the breath, correct execution of postures and harmony between body and mind.

In addition to regular classes, I also organize thematic seminars and workshops on Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, self-healing, deeper yoga techniques, meditation and relaxation. Each class or workshop retreat is a unique opportunity to explore your practice and take it a step further.

My path to yoga began more than twenty years ago, when I was studying at the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Krakow. At that time I was not interested in yoga, my priority was skiing, cycling, cross-country skiing and fitness training. During one athletics class, our school invited an outstanding yoga teacher from India. At the time, yoga was not that popular; only a few students came to the class. We started with a short introduction, followed by asanas and breathing exercises and finally a longer meditation and relaxation. The class was followed by a great relaxation of the muscles and the whole body, quite different from the usual stretching. The yoga teacher then approached me and told me to take up yoga, that one day I would teach it. She was right.

The yoga path can be a metaphor for life itself – overcoming obstacles and challenges that arise in everyday life, facing different situations and problems. The yoga path teaches me how to deal with these challenges and how to become stronger and more resilient.

I have found a great passion for traveling and have met different styles of yoga and teachers in India, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Bali and Sri Lanka.

I like to pass on my experiences to my yogis so they can perceive yoga the way I perceive it.

Ever since I went to college and became an accredited ski instructor, I have enjoyed sharing my experiences and my passion for skiing. Skiing and skialp – freestyle mountain skiing – is a lifelong love. I first skied at the age of three. 

I teach children and adults, beginners and advanced. Lessons can be conducted individually or in groups.

Price

One hour of skiing lessons 680 CZK/1 person, 550 CZK (2 to 4 people). 

One hour of skialp or cross-country skiing lessons 680 CZK/1 person, 550 CZK (2 to 4 people).

Feeling good in your body is important to your health. Exercise, healthy eating, fitness, back strengthening, etc. I will help you master proper technique and customize exercises to your needs.

I offer to create a workout plan and put together a dietetic program.

Fitness training – 600 CZK/1 person, 400 CZK (2 to 4 people)

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Pedagogy of Free Time at the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Krakow (2005). I have successfully completed (2001) accredited course of Ski Instructor and Fitness Instructor (2002).

Regular yoga classes and workshops

Yoga classes

Join our regular yoga classes in Havířov, which take place three times a week in a pleasant and peaceful environment. Classes are suitable for beginners and advanced students alike, and offer a great opportunity to stretch your body, relax your mind and recharge your energy. At the Yogaia studio we practice yoga with kundalini elements (60min) on every Wednesdays at 4.15pm, power yoga (60min) at 5.30pm on every Wednesdays and Natysalon at 608 Opletalova Street on Mondays at 6pm. Come and discover the magic of yoga and do something good for your body and mind!

Workshops

I would like to invite you to my educational yoga workshops in Havířov, Ostrava and Čeladná, which I organize every month. They are intended for everyone who wants to go deeper into yoga and discover its full potential. At the workshops we will focus together on asana technique, pranayama and meditation so that you can get the most out of yoga. Workshop topics-  What is the organ of the month?  (according Chinese medicine) , optimal weight, balancing hormones, basics of Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine, partners yoga and Thai massage techniques.  I am here to help you explore the real possibilities of your body and mind.

Weekned retreats

Weekend retreats are ideal for anyone who wants to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, deepen their yoga practice and recharge their batteries. During the weekend we will have yoga classes, breathing exercises, meditation and time for relaxation. Together we will work on proper asana technique and deepen the mind-body connection. Join me for a weekend of well-being, inspiration and self-discovery.
